IDS Joining The European Big Data Value Forum @ The Palais des Congrès, Versailles
Nov 21 – Nov 23 ganztägig

The European Data Forum (EDF) is a key European event for industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the European data economy and data-driven innovation in Europe. Likewise, the BDVA Summit has quickly grown into a renowned event for all stakeholders in the European data economy.

A focus will be given to the topic of "Trusted AI in Smart Industry". As data is now pervasive in personal, professional and industrial contexts more and more digital services make algorithmic-based decisions in several domains ranging from the processing of sensitive personal data to critical industrial embedded systems. Transparency and accountability of such data-based algorithmic systems become increasingly important for trust and reliability of digital services both in a B2C and B2B contexts. They are competitiveness factors for data-driven innovation.

Technology provides new opportunities, offers quality of life and process efficiency. Its role as the driver of human culture grows constantly. Already today and even more so in the future it supports mankind in a sustainable use of ressources. Technology and its chances simply intrigue us.

But only when going beyond development and reaching the stage of application, does technology – combined with intelligent management – unfold its full force. For this reason we organize conferences and exhibitions. They bridge the ability of man to create with his aim to discover something new. One person´s knowledge will help another to go forward.

Exhibitions and conferences inspire. They provide the way for new ventures into the market. They have done so for millenia and will continue to do so as long as mankind communicates with each other.
